Administrative Assistant

The Administrative Assistant will perform a wide range of administrative and support activities for the department and/or managers and supervisors to facilitate the efficient operation of the organization.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Answer, screen and transfer inbound phone calls
  • File and update contact information of customers, suppliers and external partners
  • General clerical duties including photocopying, fax and mailing
  • Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system
  • Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos and emails
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments and travel arrangements for managers or supervisors
  • Record, compile, transcribe and distribute minutes of meetings

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a secretary or administrative assistant(a minimum 12 months of administrative/clerical experience)
  • Familiar with office organization and optimization techniques
  • High degree of multi-tasking and time management capability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Integrity and professionalism
  • Proficiency incomputer skills and MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Verifiable high school diploma or GED
  • Position Type: Full-Time/Regular
