Vacuum–Boiling Point Explorer

Pick a solvent, drag the system pressure, and read the boiling point — with the Δ20 °C (20/40/60) bath & condenser guides.

Schematic teaching tool. This tool evaluates log₁₀(P/mmHg) = A − B / (T/°C + C) and converts the result to mbar; Antoine coefficients are unit-dependent and must never be mixed between conventions. Coefficients and their stated validity ranges are taken from standard published compilations for each pure solvent (values are reference data, not manufacturer data); mixtures, dissolved solids and superheating shift real behavior. Guides follow the Δ20 °C rule of thumb (condenser 20 °C below the vapor temperature, bath 20 °C above). Always follow your SOP and solvent safety data.
