Where does it sit on Shore 00, A, and D?
Pick an everyday object. The marker shows its approximate position on each durometer scale — and which printable flexible families reach that feel.

SHORE 00 — gels & very soft foams
SHORE A — rubbers & elastomers

Positions are approximate everyday anchors for teaching the scales — real materials are specified per ASTM D2240 with value, tolerance, and scale, and the durometer types do not convert exactly (overlap shown is indicative). Each anchor shows one indicative reading on its most useful scale; neighbouring scales are described only qualitatively. Material-family bands are illustrative and vary by formulation: the TPU band shows typical widely used FDM grades (softer grades exist), and the photopolymer band marks the ACS service range of Shore 60A–80A rather than the limits of the family. Not a substitute for grade selection with datasheets.
