Schematic teaching model. Transformation follows Avrami kinetics x = 1 − exp[−(kt)n] with n = 3 and an Arrhenius rate constant k(T), integrated along the ramp; peak positions are representative, not a real material. Frame time bundles exposure plus readout (laboratory ≈ 2 min per pattern; synchrotron ≈ 0.5 s). Noise follows counting statistics, scaling as 1/√photons, so higher flux buys faster and cleaner frames. Playback is time-compressed; real ramps take minutes to hours. Actual exposure times, flux ratios, and kinetics depend on the instrument, beamline, and material.
