Which methods fit your specimen — by scale and by accuracy?

Each family covers a range of specimen scales, not a point. Drag the first slider to your specimen size and the second to the uncertainty you can live with. Blue = fits both. Amber = covers your size but is typically looser than your target. Grey = wrong size range. Bars overlap because several methods can serve the same size; their vertical order is by scale, not a ranking.

Coverage bars are representative teaching ranges; every instrument publishes its own validated envelope, and competent laboratories extend edges with corrections. Vertical order is by scale, not quality.
