One recipe, three pellet sizes

Set a 13 mm recipe and the pressure on the pellet. The tool scales it by area to 7 and 3 mm at the same thickness and pressure, and checks each size against the die limit, the presses and, if you enter it, the beam of your spectrometer.

mm
pellet, to scale; percentages are the material used, relative to 13 mmsteel ring of an in-ring diebeam, if entered

Quantities for 7 and 3 mm are the 13 mm recipe scaled by area: starting estimates, not validated recipes. Thickness assumes fully dense KBr at 2.75 g/cm³. The beam share is geometry for a round, evenly filled beam centered on the pellet; a real beam is neither perfectly round nor even. Gauge readings use the force and gauge range printed for each manual frame. The tool does not predict whether a pellet will be clear.
