Which laboratory press fits the job?
Answer five questions. Every PressPro™ family is checked against all five answers, model by model: temperature, operation and force have to be met by the same model. A family is shown as a match only when at least one model meets every answer; anything that needs a point confirmed, or that would change one of your answers, is labeled as such.
1. What is the pressing for?
2. Temperature during pressing
3. Atmosphere
4. Operation
5. Force you expect to need
Uniaxial pressing
Hot pressing
Isostatic pressing
Selection aid. It checks purpose, temperature, atmosphere, operating mode and rated force against the PressPro™ range as listed today. It does not check die or platen size, the pressure your material needs, or whether a machine fits your bench or glove box. Rated force is the maximum of a model, not a minimum working load. When no force range is selected, or a model is rated for only part of the selected range, the family is listed for comparison and not as a match. A heated press can press at room temperature with its heaters off; for room-temperature work it is listed as usable, after the unheated presses.
