Which isostatic chamber takes the part?

Enter the size of the pressed part and the allowances for the mold. The tool answers two separate questions: which PressPro™ chambers the sealed mold fits into, and how the force needed for your pressure compares with the rated tonnage of each frame.

Geometry: filled mold = pressed size ÷ (1 − shrinkage), plus wall and closures, with 2 mm clearance on diameter. Load: force = chamber pressure × bore area ÷ 9800, compared with the rated tonnage of the frame. A chamber the mold fits into is not thereby a confirmed configuration. Standard chambers are rated to 300 MPa cold and 200 MPa warm.
