Levon™ solution coating selector
Which solution coating method fits the sample?
Describe the substrate, the ink and the conditions. Spin, dip, slot-die and blade (film applicator) coating are each checked against every answer, and the Levon™ models are sorted by whether their published specifications cover your answers, with the specification that decides it. A single-model check then says whether any one model meets every requirement you entered. Nothing is ranked. Where a product page does not state a limit, the tool says so instead of guessing.
Substrate
Left blank, substrate-thickness limits (dip coaters 5 mm, slot-die coaters 0.05–10 mm, mask aligner 0.1–3 mm) are reported as not checked.
Coated faces
Throughput
Ink
Target dry thickness
Ink available per run
Substrate heated while coating
Left blank, the tool only checks that a model has heating, not whether it reaches your temperature.
Must run inside a glovebox
Surface preparation before coating
Lithography after coating
Bake atmosphere
The substrate size and glovebox answer come from section 1.
Your answers and the matching models, as plain text. Copy it into the contact form or an email so the reply can address your substrate, ink and configuration. Opening or copying this summary does not send anything; ACS Material receives an inquiry only when you send it.
Selection aid, not a process recipe. It compares the coating methods by what physically meters the wet film and checks substrate size and shape, substrate thickness (where a page states a limit), faces, heating above room temperature, glovebox use and bake temperature against the published Levon™ specifications as listed on 22 October 2026, configuration by configuration. It does not predict thickness: final thickness is set mainly by the ink (concentration, viscosity, solvent) and the recipe, and a maximum spin speed is a hardware limit, not a minimum thickness. Uniformity values on product pages were measured under the conditions stated there; they do not transfer to other inks, and because the test definitions differ, they are not used here to rank one instrument above another.
