Die or chamber for this part?
Enter the size of the pressed part, the friction you want to assume and the pressure. On the die side the tool gives the modeled pressure at the far end and compares it with a line you set yourself. On the isostatic side it lists the chambers worth checking and the force they would take.
Pressing scheme in the die
Die side: pressure at depth z = applied pressure × exp(−4μKz/D), with μ and K held constant. In real powders both change with pressure and density, and density is not proportional to pressure. The percentage is a relative pressure under these assumptions; the line it is compared with is yours, not a standard. Isostatic side: a first sieve on the pressed size only. The filled, sealed mold is larger than the part, so a chamber listed here still has to pass the full chamber check in the isostatic guide.
