The ALab™ MS-H-S10 is a 10-position magnetic hotplate stirrer with a 180 × 450 mm work plate. It heats the plate from RT to 120°C and stirs up to 0.4 L of water at each of 10 positions at 0 to 1100 rpm.
Temperature and speed are set with two knobs on scales. The maintenance-free brushless DC motor gives a maximum speed of 1100 rpm, and the over temperature protection is set at 140°C.
The instrument provides ten stirring positions on one plate for parallel heating and stirring of small volumes. For the same plate without heating, see the MS-M-S10.
