The D1524R is a high-speed refrigerated micro centrifuge: 15,000rpm (200–15,000rpm in 100rpm increments), 21,380 ×g, a temperature setting of −20°C to 40°C and a pre-cooling time of only 7 minutes from room temperature to 4°C. The compressor starts cooling automatically as long as the set temperature is lower than the ambient temperature; an electronic magnetic door lock lets the lid be closed with one hand, and an external condensation tank prevents water accumulation within the centrifuge chamber.
