The ALab™ MS-H-ProM is an LCD digital magnetic hotplate stirrer with enhanced magnets and a powerful motor for stirring viscous liquids. It stirs up to 20 L of water at 100 to 1500 rpm, heats the 5-inch (Ø135 mm) ceramic-coated aluminum plate from RT to 340°C and has a timer from 1 min to 99 h 59 min.
Acceleration and deceleration are smooth. Three heating modes are available: A fast, B standard and C steady heating. At the end of the set time heating stops and stirring continues.
The vivid LCD shows temperature, speed, time and settings, and status indicators show heating, stirring and the timer. The external PT1000 sensor (accuracy ±0.2°C) controls the liquid temperature, the RS232 connector allows remote control from a PC, and the "HOT" warning flashes when the plate temperature is above 50°C, even after the hotplate is turned off.
