The ALab™ MS-H-ProT is an LCD digital magnetic hotplate stirrer with a timer from 1 min to 99 h 59 min and a 5-inch (Ø135 mm) ceramic-coated stainless steel plate. It stirs up to 20 L of water at 100 to 1500 rpm and heats the plate from RT to 340°C.
The LCD shows speed, temperature and time. The brushless DC motor is maintenance free, and the external PT1000 temperature sensor (accuracy ±0.2°C) controls the liquid temperature.
Safety circuits provide overheating protection at 420°C. The "HOT" warning flashes when the work plate temperature is above 50°C, even when the hotplate is turned off, and the RS232 connector allows remote control from a PC and data transmission.
