The ALab™ MS-H-S is an analog magnetic hotplate stirrer: heating and speed are set with two knobs against printed scales. It has a 5-inch (Ø135 mm) ceramic-coated stainless steel plate, stirs up to 20 L of water at 0 to 1500 rpm and heats the plate from RT to 340°C.
The brushless DC motor is maintenance free. Safety circuits provide overheating protection at 420°C. The ceramic coating of the plate is chemical-resistant.
The MS-H-S has no digital display, external temperature sensor, timer or data connector. Speed and temperature are indicated by printed scales. For an LCD, PT1000 control and RS232, see the MS-H-Pro+.
