The ALab™ OS-Pro Series LCD Digital Overhead Stirrer is available as the OS20-Pro, OS40-Pro and OS70-Pro, for a max. stirring quantity of 20 L, 40 L or 70 L (water). All three have a brushless DC motor, an LCD display of speed and torque, an RS232 data interface and a self-locking chuck for shafts of Ø0.5–10 mm.
Overhead stirrers are used for mixing medium and high viscosity samples in chemical synthesis, pharmaceutical synthesis, physical and chemical analysis and the petrochemical industry. The OS-Pro series holds a constant speed when the viscosity of the sample changes.
The OS20-Pro and OS40-Pro run at 50–2200 rpm with a max. torque of 40 or 60 N·cm. The OS70-Pro runs at 50–1100 rpm with a max. torque of 300 N·cm, handles up to 100000 mPa·s and adds a timer of 0–99 h 59 min with time shown on the LCD.
