Working accuracy
Systematic and random error are specified per model at three measured volumes. At the three listed measured volumes for each model, the absolute systematic and random error values are the same, while the corresponding percentage values increase as the measured volume decreases.
| Model | Measured volume | Systematic error | Random error |
|---|---|---|---|
| 0.01–10 mL | 10 mL | ±50 µL · ±0.5% | ±30 µL · ±0.3% |
| 0.01–10 mL | 5 mL | ±50 µL · ±1.0% | ±30 µL · ±0.6% |
| 0.01–10 mL | 1 mL | ±50 µL · ±5.0% | ±30 µL · ±3.0% |
| 0.02–25 mL | 25 mL | ±125 µL · ±0.5% | ±62.5 µL · ±0.25% |
| 0.02–25 mL | 12.5 mL | ±125 µL · ±1.0% | ±62.5 µL · ±0.5% |
| 0.02–25 mL | 2.5 mL | ±125 µL · ±5.0% | ±62.5 µL · ±2.5% |
| 0.02–50 mL | 50 mL | ±250 µL · ±0.5% | ±125 µL · ±0.25% |
| 0.02–50 mL | 25 mL | ±250 µL · ±1.0% | ±125 µL · ±0.5% |
| 0.02–50 mL | 5 mL | ±250 µL · ±5.0% | ±125 µL · ±2.5% |
Dispensing accuracy complies with ISO 8655-5. Accuracy values are provided only for the measured volumes shown in the table; select against the value specified for the volume actually dispensed.
Dispensing modes
| Mode | Operation |
|---|---|
| Manual fixed-volume | Set the volume in mL; aspiration and dispensing are controlled manually. |
| Automatic fixed-volume | Set interval, volume and number of repetitions. The first dispense is triggered manually, then the program continues at the set interval. |
| Automatic multi-step | Set a different volume for each step, up to 10 steps, with the total not exceeding piston capacity, plus an interval time. The first dispense is triggered manually, then the program runs at the set intervals. |
| Manual free | Aspiration and dispensing volumes are both controlled manually. |
| Custom | Define steps, intervals, volumes, aspiration and dispensing, and save the sequence as a program for reuse. |
| Titration | Manual or continuous titration until stopped, with the titration volume shown on screen — for example volumetric flask preparation and pH adjustment. |

The programmable position in the ALab™ dispensing range. The range also includes the DispensMate, DispensMate-Pro and DispensMate-HF bottle-top dispensers, the dFlow electronic bottle-top dispenser and the dTrite-Pro electronic burette. The dFlow-Pro is the touchscreen-programmable model: six dispensing modes including titration, 10-level speed control, 1000 stored experiment records, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi functions, and Type-C and Wi-Fi PC interfaces. For applications that do not require programmable multi-step sequences or stored experiment records, the dFlow is another electronic bottle-top dispensing option in the ALab™ range.
FAQ
Which of the three models should I choose?
By working range: 0.01–10 mL with a 10 µL minimum, 0.02–25 mL with a 20 µL minimum, or 0.02–50 mL with a 20 µL minimum. Accuracy is specified separately for each model, so select against the value specified for the volume actually dispensed rather than against the widest range.
What is the difference between working range and maximum transfer volume?
They are separate specifications. The 10 mL and 25 mL models list a maximum transfer volume of 25 mL and the 50 mL model lists 50 mL.
How accurate is it at low volumes?
For the 0.01–10 mL model, the listed systematic error is ±50 µL at the measured volumes of 10 mL, 5 mL and 1 mL, corresponding to ±0.5%, ±1.0% and ±5.0%. Accuracy values are provided only for the measured volumes shown in the table.
Can it perform titration?
Yes. Titration is one of the six dispensing modes: manual or continuous titration until stopped, with the titration volume shown on screen. For a burette-class instrument dedicated to volumetric titration, see the dTrite-Pro.
What does the drying tube do?
A drying tube is supplied as standard for reagents sensitive to moisture and CO2, and compatible absorbents can be added. The absorbent itself is not specified.
What is the amber window for?
Transparent and amber window options are available. The amber option is intended for light-sensitive liquids such as iodine solution, potassium permanganate and silver nitrate.
Can it be connected to an automation system?
The dFlow-Pro is adaptable for connection to automation systems for small-scale production line dispensing. Interface details and integration requirements: confirm at quotation.
Are dimensions and power supply data available?
Weight is 1.2 kg. Dimensions, power supply and charger details: confirm at quotation.
