The ALab™ DHP7-550 is an LCD digital hotplate with a 7-inch glass-ceramic plate that heats from RT to 550°C with a heating output of 1100 W. It has no stirring function; for heating and stirring on the same plate size, see the DMS7-550M.
Three heating modes (A rapid, B standard, C stable) suit different samples. The LCD shows the set and actual temperature and the time, the timer runs from 1 min to 99 h 59 min and stops heating at the end of the countdown, and an external PT1000 temperature sensor (accuracy ±0.2°C) controls the liquid temperature.
580°C overheating protection, two independent safety circuits, a settable safety temperature and a "HOT" warning that flashes while the plate is above 50°C, even after the power is switched off, protect the user. A safety lock, a buzzer and an RS232 connector for remote control from a PC are built in.

No. The DHP7-550 is a hotplate without a stirring motor. The DMS7-550M combines heating to 550°C with magnetic stirring on the same plate size.

Can I control the liquid temperature?
