The ALab™ DMS7 is an LCD digital magnetic stirrer with a 7-inch (184 × 184 mm) glass-ceramic plate. It stirs up to 20 L of water at 50 to 1500 rpm. It has no heater; for heating and stirring on the same plate size, see the DMS7-550M.
The brushless DC motor runs smoothly and quietly and is maintenance free. The LCD shows the set and actual speed and the time, the timer runs from 1 min to 99 h 59 min, and the RS232 connector allows remote control from a PC.
The large glass-ceramic plate resists strong acids and alkalis and is easy to clean. The corrosion-resistant all-metal housing and the waterproof plate edge keep spills out of the electronics, and a safety lock protects the settings.
