ALab™ dPette+ and dPette — motor driven electronic pipettes: the dPette+ multi functional electronic pipette (single-channel and 8-channel) and the dPette simple electronic pipette (single-channel). Single-channel dPette+: pipetting, mixing, stepper and dilution; single-channel dPette: pipetting and mixing; dPette+ 8-channel: pipetting, mixing and stepper.
The dPette+ is a multi functional electronic pipette and the dPette is a simple electronic pipette: for the single-channel pipettes the dPette+ is for pipetting, mixing, stepper and dilution and the dPette for pipetting and mixing; the dPette+ 8-channel is described for pipetting, mixing and stepper. The dPette combines manual pipette features, as ergonomics and lightweight, with electronic pipette features, such as labor-saving and high accuracy, offering new pipetting experience to users. Both are motor driven digitally controlled pipettes with an intuitive menu interface, 2 buttons for all operational settings, minimal force for pipetting operation, adjustable speed for aspiration and dispensing and a Li-ion battery for longer operation time; self-calibration is applicable. The dPette+ 8-channel version is a multi-functional high performance electronic pipette that offers productive pipetting with easy to understand operations; its uniquely lightweight streamlined design ensures an effortless transfer of multiple samples with an increased throughput and data reproducibility, and it supports dual charging modes (USB charger or charging stand). What is the difference between the dPette+ and the dPette?
The dPette+ is the multi functional electronic pipette and the dPette is the simple electronic pipette. How is the dPette+ 8-channel charged?
The dPette+ 8-channel supports dual charging modes: use of a USB charger or the charging stand ensures uninterrupted use. A complimentary pipette holder is shown with the contact charging mode.
How is the dPette+ 8-channel operated?
Three easy steps: long press the Parameter Knob for 2 seconds to start; rotate the knob back and forth quickly to switch pipetting, continuous dispensing and other function settings; quickly turn the Parameter Knob to unlock it, turn it to adjust the parameter such as volume, press it to pipette, long press it to mix.
Can the pipette be calibrated?
Self-calibration is applicable (dPette+ and dPette single-channel). For the dPette+ 8-channel, connect it to the computer; free software is provided for calibration.
What are the error limits of the 0.5–10 µL single-channel range?
Increment 0.01 µL. At 10, 5 and 1 µL test volume the systematic error is ±0.10, ±0.10 and ±0.05 µL (±1.00, ±2.00 and ±5.00 %) and the random error ±0.05, ±0.10 and ±0.03 µL (±0.50, ±2.00 and ±3.00 %).
