The ALab™ HP550-S is a hotplate with a 7-inch (184 × 184 mm) glass-ceramic plate and an LED temperature display. It heats from RT to 550°C with a heating power of 1000 W and has no stirring function.
The LED display shows the actual temperature. The plate temperature is set in 5°C increments with a plate control accuracy of ±10°C, and the glass-ceramic plate offers excellent chemical resistance and efficient heat transfer.
Separate safety circuits with a safety temperature of 580°C protect the unit, an external PT1000 temperature sensor (accuracy ±0.2°C) can be connected, and a "HOT" warning flashes while the plate is above 50°C.
