The ALab™ MS7-H550-S is a magnetic hotplate stirrer with a 7-inch (184 × 184 mm) glass-ceramic plate and an LED temperature display. It heats from RT to 550°C and stirs up to 10 L of water at up to 1500 rpm.
The plate temperature is set in 5°C increments with a plate control accuracy of ±10°C and is shown on the LED display; the speed is set on a scale from 0 to 1500 rpm. A shaded-pole motor drives the stirring.
An external PT1000 temperature sensor (accuracy ±0.2°C) can be connected, overheating protection acts at 580°C, and a "HOT" warning is given above 50°C. For digital speed control and RS232, see the MS7-H550-Pro.
