The ALab™ MS7-H550-Pro is an LCD digital magnetic hotplate stirrer with a 7-inch (184 × 184 mm) glass-ceramic plate. It heats from RT to 550°C and stirs up to 20 L of water at 100 to 1500 rpm.
The LCD shows the actual temperature and speed, and two knobs set speed and temperature. A built-in PID controller heats the medium safely, with 580°C overheating protection, and the brushless DC motor gives more stirring power.
The glass-ceramic plate resists corrosion and is easy to clean. An external PT1000 temperature sensor (accuracy ±0.2°C) controls the sample temperature, a "HOT" warning flashes while the plate is above 50°C, even when the unit is switched off, and the RS232 connector allows PC control and data transmission.
