The ALab™ MS7-H380-E is an LCD digital magnetic hotplate stirrer with a 7-inch (184 × 184 mm) aluminum plate with ceramic coating. It heats from RT to 380°C and stirs up to 20 L of water at 80 to 1500 rpm.
The ceramic-coated aluminum plate has strong corrosion resistance and is easy to clean, and a diversion platform and slope keep liquids from entering the unit and corroding the electronics. The LCD shows speed and temperature.
An external PT1000 temperature sensor (accuracy ±0.2°C) gives precise control of the sample temperature. Dry-burn, overcurrent, ground-fault and overtemperature protection are built in, overheating protection acts at 410°C, and "HOT" flashes on the display while the plate surface is above 50°C, even after the power is switched off.
