ALab™ MX-F Vortex Mixer is a fixed speed vortex mixer for mixing liquid components in tubes and for the resuspension of cells, using an eccentric mechanism. It runs at a fixed 3000 rpm with an orbital mixing motion and a 4 mm orbital diameter, and offers two run types: Touch operation and Continuous.

They are widely used in clinical labs performing virus diagnostic tests and in biological & chemical analysis applications. The MX-F is perfect for mixing high-viscosity materials, such as waxes and slurries, and for mixing battery slurries, paints, pharmaceuticals and more. A shaded pole motor drives the orbital motion, and the VT1.1 standard top, fitted by default, takes tubes under Ø30 mm and small vessels.
