ALab™ QPette — a mechanical pipette in adjustable single-channel and fixed volume versions: light weight, ergonomic, low force design with a digital display, covering 0.1 µL to 10 mL.
The QPette mechanical pipettes are light weight, ergonomic and low force in design, with a digital display that clearly reads the volume setting. The pipettes cover a volume range of 0.1 µL to 10 mL and are easy to calibrate and maintain with the tool supplied; the design helps avoid repetitive strain injuries. They are calibrated in accordance with ISO8655 and each pipette is supplied with an individual test certificate; the lower section can be autoclaved. The volume is selected by simply turning the plunger button; a comfortable finger support and a tip ejector that allows convenient one-handed operation are provided, the ejector collar and tip cone can be removed, and the durable tip cone materials provide excellent chemical resistance. Can the QPette be autoclaved?

Are the pipettes calibrated?
Yes. They are calibrated in accordance with ISO8655 and each pipette is supplied with an individual test certificate. They are easy to calibrate and maintain with the tool supplied.
How is the volume set on adjustable-volume models?
Simply turn the plunger button for volume selection; the digital display clearly reads the volume setting.
How is the tip ejected?
The tip ejector allows convenient one-handed operation. The ejector collar and tip cone can be removed.
What are the error limits of the 0.5–10 µL range?
Increment 0.1 µL. At 10, 5 and 1 µL test volume the systematic error is ±0.1, ±0.075 and ±0.025 µL (±1.00, ±1.50 and ±2.50 %) and the random error ±0.08, ±0.075 and ±0.015 µL (±0.80, ±1.50 and ±1.50 %).
