The ALab™ TB-H240-V1 is a constant temperature bath with a transparent Ø150 × 100 mm glass bath tub. It heats from RT to 240°C with ±0.5°C control accuracy for heated liquids, and its controller is separate from the main unit on a cable of up to 1 m.
High-quality heating elements, temperature sensors and intelligent PID temperature control give uniform and rapid heating. The published heating curve reports a heating rate of 3.1°C/min for 1 L of silicone oil at a set temperature of 120°C and a stirring speed of 500 rpm.
The transparent glass bath makes it easy to watch the state of the reactants, and an optional magnetic stirrer improves temperature uniformity within the bath. A protective guard mounted on a stand keeps the heating vessel away from the heating tube and helps keep beakers or other containers from tipping over.
