Electrical Heating Stage AEH200-Mini/AEH600S/AEH800S
Product Detail
InSitu Pro™ AEH200-Mini, AEH600S and AEH800S bring resistive heating to electrical characterization: RT to 200, 600 or 800 °C at ±0.1 °C, with Max heating 150 °C/min and a controllable cooling rate. The AEH200-Mini pairs a trough-type oil-bath stage with two high-voltage probes; the AEH600S and AEH800S run four magnetic-mount probes with gold-plated tungsten-carbide tips in an atmosphere chamber — grounded or electrically floating.

Key features

Heating in air? Plan for oxidation
When operated in air at elevated temperature, many metals and alloys may oxidize — the extent depends on material composition, surface condition, temperature, atmosphere, and exposure time. Hold a sample for an hour at a working temperature and see:
Model: parabolic oxidation x² = k·t with an Arrhenius rate constant — an approximation for diffusion-controlled oxidation, not every material or temperature; the vacuum panel suppresses the oxidant supply. The AEH600S and AEH800S heat in an atmosphere chamber, and the AEH200-Mini runs as an exposed stage — confirm the intended operating atmosphere at quotation. Curves are schematic, not performance data for a specific stage or sample.

FAQ
What is the difference between the three models?
The AEH200-Mini (RT to 200 °C) is an exposed, open stage with a trough-type copper platform for immersion oil-bath testing, two high-voltage probes and BNC ×2. The AEH600S (RT to 600 °C, silver stage) and AEH800S (RT to 800 °C, stainless-steel stage) share an atmosphere chamber with a JGS2 window set, four magnetic-mount probes and BNC ×4.
Is cooling really “natural cooling”?
The specification lists a controllable cooling rate. These models use resistive heating, and no separate active-cooling method is listed in the standard specification. For active cooling, see the LN₂-cooled AECH600S or the TEC-based AEPE120.
How is the AEH200-Mini used for oil-bath testing?
Its trough-type sample stage is designed for oil-bath environments: the exposed stage suits immersion oil-bath testing, with the two high-voltage probe holders carrying gold-plated copper probes to the sample and signals out on BNC ×2.
How do the probes connect to my instruments?
Probe signals run out on BNC connectors (×2 on the AEH200-Mini, ×4 on the AEH600S / AEH800S) to compatible electrical measurement instruments. The stage surface can be grounded or electrically floating on all three models; custom probes and probe interfaces are available as options.
How do I order, and what software support is included?
All three models are supplied by quotation: request via this page or the InSitu Pro™ Stage Selector, and our engineers confirm the configuration for your instruments and reply with pricing and lead time. The host-computer software provides temperature setting, program editing, and data acquisition; LabVIEW and C# SDKs support customized integration.
