ALab™ MX-C Cell Disruptor
Product Detail
ALab™ MX-C Cell Disruptor disrupts cells, yeast, bacteria, algae, fungi, etc. to prepare cell lysates for further processing. It offers easy-to-operate, rapid hands-free disruption of up to 8 microtubes (capacity 8 × 2 mL) with an adjustable speed range of 0–3000 rpm and a 4 mm orbital diameter.

Durable, reliable and affordable, the MX-C processes at a constant, controlled shear rate with a high-speed circumferential vortex and oscillation function. It maintains genome integrity of the biological samples and facilitates subsequent purification of genomic material, and is best suited for research laboratories demanding accurate, reproducible, repeatable results. Suitable for all sample types, it is used for lysis of yeast and fungi; isolation of genomic material from faecal samples, fungi and bacteria samples and soil samples; isolation of PCR-ready genomic DNA from soil samples; DNA & RNA purification; lysis of bacteria; lysis of soft tissues; isolation of genomic DNA; purification of DNA; cell lysis; lysing the cell wall of yeast; and breaking hard/brittle samples.
